I’m In!

We experienced a terrific 2010 International Leadership Conference in Atlanta. The southern hospitality was great. A big thanks to all our Georgia friends. We had fun, learned much, felt the challenge, and today we’re back in the world we had left behind. The question is, “Now what?”
Here is my challenge to all who attended or are reading this. You are a respected individual. An influencer. Make the “I’m In!”commitment to God, to yourself and to those that Jesus loves in your family, your church, your city . . . and let’s change our world!
Be one of one hundred in the USA and Canada who say, “I can do this. I am an influencer:
1) Create a “Global Village of Elders” in your town or city;
2) Say to God and to others, a) I will answer Christ’s call – Mt 28:19; b) I will listen to your story; c) I will be the Church external!
3) Seize the Moment. Stir up Momentum. Start a Movement of men and women who, like you, want to make a difference in people’s lives.
We’ll show you how. It is simple and so rewarding that you’ll wonder why you haven’t done this before. We’ll even help you do it. The way to begin:
1) Invite four pastors or lay leaders responsible for 50+ age men and women out for coffee. Tell your stories. Share dreams. Pray for each other.
2) Do the same with four Opinion Makers in your church.
3) When you’ve become acquainted, ask the first group of four if they would do the same with some of their colleagues in ministry. In a few weeks time you can have a Village of respected and influential men and women who will think of a Great Idea that links with the Idea Jesus gave us in Matthew 28:19 . . . one that will change our world . . . and then put it into action!
4) Ask the same of the Opinion Makers. What are their Great Ideas? You will inspire others in your church and city to connect and change our world as only Christ-followers can. Remember, we are better together!
5) Link colleagues and your churches or organizations to CASA Network.
Are you ready to say “I’m In!” too? Let us know by filling out the form below and then follow up with us to share stories of the impact you see in your church, family and community.
Some Reponses from Others Joining the “I’m In” Challenge
Let me first thank God and thank you for having a network about senior adults. Let me introduce myself. I am a pastors wife and a pastor in the womens ministry in our local church. We serve in a multicultaral denomination. We have senior adults in our church and i always have this passion to do something for them because they may be lonely staying alone at home while their children have their families to attend to. These are mostly widowed Indian sisters and they are 60+. So , I really need your help here as to how? Why? When? And where to start from and will be such a blessing to our church but especially to them that they are cared for. Am looking forward more from you. With thanks.
