Pastor Sharon has always been strong in all that she does.
The first born of seven with six brothers, she loved serving in her community for years along with her five children in their activities. Then at age 45, the Lord placed a call on her life and today she is an ordained minister and a pastor for over 25 years at Phoenix First Assembly of God where she currently directs 21 ministries. She has developed Compassionate Ministries such as Wheelchair Bus Ministry, Care Center Ministry, Medical Equipment Lending Center, Special Needs Classes and Camp, Extreme Seasonal Outreaches and Chaplain Training. She and her husband of 50+ years are determined to see every Zip Code in every community in our Nation established with a Chaplain.

Following the completion of an M.A. in Inter-American Diplomatic History, service as a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia, and a Ph.D. in bilingual/bicultural education at the University of New Mexico; Jim worked as a Drop-Out Prevention Specialist on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and as a Resource Training Director with the Minneapolis Public Schools. In these positions, he was responsible for developing and delivering a variety of curriculum and training programs. Since that time, Jim has worked as a writer, producer and director, telecommunications and marketing consultant, statewide media campaign coordinator in the State of Minnesota, workshop leader, public speaker, and lecturer.
The Bergstroms live in Seattle where Richard is Executive Pastor at Northshore Baptist Church in Bothell WA. Leona is Director of Lifetime Ministries, a division of ChurchHealth. She and Richard are Co-Directors of 2nd ½ for Him Ministries/Converge Worldwide (Baptist General Conference). They are co-authors of Amazing Grays: Unleashing the Power of Age in Your Congregation. Leona has worked in the field of gerontology for 35 years. She is an Advisory Council member/CRISTA Senior Living, co-producer of the short film, Musical Chairs, and Secretary of the Board of CASA Network.
Jason Cusick is Pastor of Care Ministries at Journey of Faith Church in Manhattan Beach, CA, where he oversees grief ministry, one-to-one lay caregiving, convalescent ministry, recovery ministry, and pastoral care for the 2,000 person congregation. Formerly a hospital chaplain, Jason is a Board Certified Chaplain with experience in bedside care, crisis ministry, bioethics, and end of life issues. John Coulombe has been in pastoral ministry since Judson Baptist College and Biola/Talbot Seminary days, working with youth in Redondo Beach and Long Beach and for 17 years with youth and families in Santa Barbara. For 21 years at First Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton, CA, John has served as Pastor to Senior Adults. He and Jacque teach in churches and conferences on issues surrounding marriage, family and grandparenting. They have 2 married sons and 7 grandchildren.
Amy Hanson PhD, is a very busy woman. She has served as the active adult (50+) ministries director at Central Christian Church in Henderson, NE, for 5 years, has taught gerontology at the college level, and regularly conducts workshops and presentations related to aging and older adult ministry. She is a member of the CASA Network Writers Panel, a popular speaker and author of the new book, Baby Boomers & Beyond. Amy lives Omaha with her husband, Jon, and is a mother of two children.
